Bristol Funeral Photographer- Julian James Photography Ltd.

We began shooting funerals over three years ago, in the first instance this was for a local funeral director Bewley Merrett, based n Corsham, Wiltshire.

Having shot several funerals and different marketing pictures for them, we began to share these pictures on social media, tweeting and blogging some of them and the story behind them.

Drawing from my training as press a photographer, I shoot funeral's in a candid informal style, normally long lenses and keeping a discreet distance to capture the day as it unfolds.

I shoot with a DSLR, and capture in raw, but I really like to convert the majority of the images to black and white.
